This is a high-fidelity functional prototype of Minute Muse which uses four physical buttons, each
mapped to a content type: Quote, Poem, Joke, or Short Reading. When a button is pressed, the
device connects to the internet, fetches a corresponding text, and prints it instantly on a thermal
printer. The interaction is simple, tactile, and screen-free, turning content selection into a calm,
intentional bedtime ritual. The printed readings are deliberately bite-sized prints, which were
formatted to be minimal, with clean typography and no visual clutter to support calm, focused reading.

App Wireframe

As a next step, Minute Muse will be paired with a companion app that lets users personalize both the
content and the print output. Users can choose their four reading categories, adjust formatting settings
like font and layout, and fine-tune what gets printed over time. The app will also allow users to rate
past readings so future prints better match their preferences, while tracking reading history, streaks,
and overall progress.
